Job Description: Pilot Mentorship Programme

Overview:

We are excited to announce the opening of our Pilot Mentorship Program, designed to support and mentor aspiring aviators in their journey to becoming professional pilots. This scheme aims to provide mentorship, to the selected candidates who demonstrate exceptional potential, dedication, and a passion for aviation.

Responsibilities:

  • Training Commitment: Attend and actively participate in all scheduled flight training sessions, ground school classes, and simulator sessions as required by the flight training program.
  • Academic Excellence: Maintain a high standard of academic performance in all aviation-related coursework and examinations.
  • Flight Proficiency: Strive to achieve proficiency in all flight manoeuvres and operations, ensuring safety and adherence to aviation regulations and best practices.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities, including seminars, workshops, and industry events.
  • Mentorship Program: Participate in the mentorship program, receiving guidance from experienced pilots and industry professionals to enhance your learning and career prospects.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all policies, procedures, and guidelines as set by the company operations manual and training school ATO manual.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Have at least five O’levels including Maths, English and a Science. All subjects must be at grade 4 (D) or higher.
  • Passion for Aviation: Demonstrated interest in and passion for aviation, supported by extracurricular activities, hobbies, or previous flight experience.
  • Physical Fitness:Able to meet the requirements for an EASA Class one Medical – for further information under  EASA sub Part-MED click here.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow complex instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and peers.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old on or before the 1st October 2024.
  • Self-Funding: must be able to self-fund the entire 0 hours to Airline pilot programme.
  • Be fluent in English (Both verbal and written). Ability to gain an ICAO Level 5 English rating.
  • Be a Eu or UK national.
  • Hold a valid worldwide passport for unrestricted travel
  • Be at least 1.58m tall
  • Able to swim 25 metres
  • Before commencing training, complete referencing and pre-employment checks required for the issue of an airport ID.
