Job Description

We’re currently looking for an OCC Duty Manager, to join our busy team in OCC.  As an OCC Duty Manager, you will report to the Head of OCC, and you will be responsible for the level of service provided by OCC Team and that procedures are followed as per Company Operational Manuals.

This position is only available on a shift basis including nights, public holidays and weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all ground services, overflight / landing clearances, and airport slots are coordinated and confirmed prior to aircraft departure.
  • Be the POC for crewmembers reporting any delays/technical issues prior departure and notifying the concerned parties for action.
  • Able to work under pressure, delegate tasks and/or assist the OCC during critical situations.
  • Be responsible for all documentation, such as Operational Flight Plans, weather & NOTAMS, fuel releases,  and ensure that manifests needed for the Crew Flight Briefing are made available to the crew and recorded, as per Company SOPs.
  • Reporting any FDP exceedances to the NPFO and subsequently notifying the Commercial department and/or Key Account Managers if delays on the schedule are required.
  • Identifying potential risks or threats that may impact the Company’s flights and request that a risk assessment is carried out.
  • Informing Commercial Department / Key Account Managers of any schedule irregularities in the system.
  • Liaising with the Crew Scheduling team for crew movements and/or hotel accommodations
  • Liaising with the Cabin Crew Manager regarding any catering on order for scheduled / non-scheduled flights.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with scheduled airlines.
  • Ideally holding a Flight Dispatch Licence or equivalent.
  • Be a team leader, able to take sound decisions and work under pressure on own initiative.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Knowledge of Weight and Balance cacluations.
  • Extensive knowledge of EASA Regulations and Operational Manuals.
  • Ability to read aerodrome charts and use of the Jeppesen Software.
  • Knowledge of PPS flight Planning system / APG / FL3XX Scheduling System / Centrik is an asset.
