Job Description

We are seeking experienced and dedicated First Officers,  to join our flight crew team. You will  ensure the highest standards of safety, customer service, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive flying experience, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The First Officer is responsible to the Commander to assist in the safe and efficient Conduct of the flight. In the event of the incapacitation of the commander, the First Officer will assume command.
  • When Cabin Crew are not carried, carry out cabin equipment checks, passenger seating and briefing in accordance with the Company’s Operations Manual, and as allocated to him by the Commander.
  • maintain familiarity with relevant Maltese and international air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures.
  • maintain familiarity with such provisions of the Company Operating Manual as are necessary to fulfil his function.
  • assist the Commander as requested, concerning administrative duties in relation to the flight.
  • support the Commander in the maintenance of a proper standard of crew discipline conduct and personal appearance.
  • to carry out such duties concerning the flight, in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), including procedures, limitations and performance relating to the specific aeroplane type, as are allocated to him by the Commander.
  • to confirm the safe navigation of the aeroplane, maintaining a continued and independent check both upon the geographical position of the aeroplane and its safe terrain clearance.
  • to volunteer such advice, information and assistance to the Commander, as may contribute favourably towards the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.

Requirements

  • EASA CPL / (f)ATPL
  • EASA Class one Medical
  • ICAO English Language Level (ELP) 5 Minimum
  • Have flown a minimum of 20 hours within the last 12 months
  • have at least 70 hours PIC in aeroplanes
  • MCC certificate or 500 hours as pilot in a multi-pilot operations on single pilot multi engine aircraft
  • Have or held a valid instrument rating within the last 2 years
  • Right to live and work in the European Union.
