Job Description
Working within our Part-145 facility, the Unlicenced Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft in compliance with EASA regulations and standards. The Unlicenced Mechanic ensures the aircraft’s airworthiness, safety, and operational readiness by performing inspections and troubleshooting issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on aircraft, including airframes, engines, and systems, adhering to EASA regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements as required to restore aircraft to operational status.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts replaced, ensuring compliance with EASA and national authority requirements.
- Safety Checks: Execute daily pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure all aircraft systems are functioning correctly and safely.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, store supervisors and other mechanics to ensure the MRO activity is maintained as per the MOE procedures.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with MRO regulations, aircraft maintenance practices, and manufacturer instructions to ensure best practices and compliance with safety standards.
Candidates will be working in our main station in Malta or approved outstations
