Job Description
As a growing airline, with both regional commercial aircraft, and a fleet expansion plan to include business jets, Universal Air will be a great place to grow your experiences in sales, and grow within the commercial department and company.
We are currently looking for a Group & Charters Sales Representative to join our team, where the opportunities to engage with new clients for ad hoc charters or long term partnerships are vast. This is a key role which will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, where the chosen individual needs to ensure the highest level of presentation and customer service.
The Group & Charter Sales Representative will be working within a busy Commercial team – taking sales calls, dealing with sales emails, producing quotations, and assisting customers and clients with all their charter needs. He/she will be establishing and maintaining personal relationships with all customers/clients, and targeting new areas of opportunities and providing initial engagement on behalf of Universal Air. This role also includes pricing charters and ensuring we enable group both private and corporate bookings efficiently and in line with the sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work as a member of the Commercial team, to ensure all quotes are responded to promptly and accurately
- Answering incoming calls politely and efficiently with an excellent telephone manner
- Providing prompt accurate price quoting, following the set procedures
- Producing accurate written responses to enquiries/emails
- Ensuring all enquires are checked for crew duty, airport operating times and aircraft performance limitations
- Provide excellent customer service to each customer and follow up on all enquires sent
- Producing contracts, flight briefs and invoices
- Obtain accurate and relevant information from clients on passengers and log them in the database
- Liaise with operations on new or potential bookings
- Create a quote for the charter or group booking
- Brief crew on pertinent passenger needs
- Personally greet flights as required
- Have complete knowledge of capabilities and amenities of each aircraft in fleet
- Establish and maintain personal relationships with all customers in a professional and acceptable manner
- Attend industry functions when required
- Make outside sales calls, and casual “Keep in Touch” visits. This may require travel away from home occasionally
- Achieve KPIs across the portfolio
- Engage with potential clients for corporate group bookings across our network.
- Travel to meet potential client for initial meeting or with the SLT as required.
- Provide weekly and month reports on the KIPs and other data from your role.
Job Requirements:
- 2/3 years of relevant experience within the Aviation industry.
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken; an additional language a bonus
- Proficient with MS Office or related software
- Be results driven, make decisions, take initiative, and solve problems
- Able to work under pressure, with a positive attitude
- Outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills
- A team player with financial acumen and strong commercial awareness
This role includes a basic salary with commission, and extensive travel is required.
